On April Fools day I made meatloaf cake with mashed potato frosting, colored with brown food coloring. I think the kids really were fooled this time, or at least until they took
their first bite. It's kind of weird eating brown mashed potatoes, but the kids thought it was fun.
Ben was a little confused after the first bite, but quickly got over it and devoured it all anyway.
Weston thoroughly enjoyed his "cake".
That was great!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat looks so cool! How creative!
ReplyDeleteCindy, you win the "Great Mom" award. I always have good intentions to do something fun but I am not good at follow through. What a fun idea.
ReplyDeleteWhat are you trying to do? Edge me out of "Mother of the year"? How did you bake the meatloaf, just in a cake pan?
ReplyDeleteYou are so creative...how do you come up with these things?
ReplyDeleteThat's just the best! I'm a bit surprised that there wasn't any fake poos sitting on counter or anything. Like when Jason and Jennie made that fake toilet paper roll poo. I hope the boys don't know about that one yet.
ReplyDeleteThe disney tickets worked out GREAT it was like 33 a day so thanks for the advice. That's a great cake!
ReplyDeleteThat is an awsome "cake". I'll have to try it next year!!
