A Diamond in the Rough

A diamond in the rough? Meaning, that the diamond belonging in my wedding ring is lost somewhere in the vast confines of my home. Not that my home would normally be described as "vast", but when searching for a small diamond, it suddenly seems to be.
This is yet another hard lesson learned. First the computer, now this. For several years now, I've been meaning to have the prongs around the diamond checked. I guess that's what I get for being a procrastinator. However, I have a friend that knows someone who had a similar experience, and it was covered by their homeowners insurance. So, I have filed a claim and we'll see where it goes.

    AACKKK!!! Are you sure it's in the house? What if it's in the Garden? How much are you going to have to pay in your deductible, and are you going to get a whole new ring, or just a new diamond? How about a nice band, and a new...car?!

    Yeah that happened to my mom, homeowners took care of everything for her, and she wasn't even positive it got lost in the house. Good luck. thats one of the many reasons I just wanted a band. Diamonds are something I would manage to lose... no matter what the prongs were doing, or not doing in this case.
